Indeed, covering these <strong>HSE requirements<\/strong> is a <strong>duty<\/strong>. Should an incident occur, (accident, pollution&#8230;), <strong>this may lead to criminal prosecution<\/strong> and severe<strong> financial losses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #eb7f21;\"><strong>4SA&#8217;s commitments<\/strong> : <\/span>we are fully aware of the level of responsibility involved and for this reason, we entrust the assignment to experienced HSE officers with a background in the merchant navy, who are trained by us in safety procedures. We were the first company to formalise these procedures from A to Z. At 4SA, these officers are referred to as TSOs (Terminal Safety Officers).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #eb7f21;\"><strong>The results <\/strong>:  <\/span>in 10 years, <strong>serious potential or actual risks have fallen from 23 to 2 per month,<\/strong> in our areas of operation <u>(Lien courbe)<\/u>.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">4SA&#8217;s safety service, &#8220;covering HSE requirements for ships at port&#8221;<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4SA&#8217;s TSOs, who represent you in the field, work on concurrent assignments, throughout the entire stay of a ship in port, in order to anticipate any accidents and incidents (intoxication, explosion, pollution&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With perfect knowledge of business and shipping terminology in English, the TSOs take on the responsibilities required of them by ship-shore safety agreements. Their expertise allows them to be a proactive force when dealing with the representatives of the terminal and of the ship. <strong>They regularly and thoroughly check all items on the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.4sa.fr\/en\/glossary\/\"><strong>SSSCL check list<\/strong><\/a> (Ship Shore Safety Check-list), ensuring you the highest level of safety.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-791\" src=\"https:\/\/www.4sa.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/securite-descale-sse.jpg\" alt=\"S\u00e9curit\u00e9 d\u2019escale\" width=\"690\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.4sa.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/securite-descale-sse.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.4sa.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/securite-descale-sse-300x122.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Should there be any non-conformance with safety standards, the TSOs can immediately stop an operation, until, with their assistance, on-site safety has been restored.
